5 out of 5 starsEverything about this mini-tote is perfect! Bigger than I thought it would be, which makes it perfect for carrying just about anything! Very well made and the colour and design is stunning, I am super thrilled to have this.

About 3DFantasyArt

My bag creation process involves an embroidery machine, an overlocker and a sewing machine.

My interactive monitor lets me draw on the screen. So much easier and more intuitive than a tablet.
-
My pop-up creative space includes a good sized desk where I can fit my machines, my cutting mat, and boxes of cotton!

Work in progress of a unicorn embroidered bag on velvety fabric. I like to choose fabric that complements the designs.

An oldie but a goodie. This little Brother Disney embroidery machine may be basic, but it does the job!
The Crafty Creations of a Compulsive Creative
Well that's enough alliteration for now!
I've had a creative streak a mile wide ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon, and nothing has changed in the intervening 40-odd years. I have many outlets for this affliction, including creative writing, 3D artwork, dressmaking, and most recently, pyrography.
An unfortunate by-product of this compulsion is a rather large collection of lovely hand-made items, each crafted with care and attention, and all in dire need of a new owner!
I set up my Etsy store as 3D Fantasy Art, primarily to sell my fantasy artwork. I'm a long-time fan of fantasy art, and count Boris Vallejo and Chris Achilleos as my earliest favourite artists. I was first attracted to the idea of creating 3D artwork back in 2003 when I first started posting art online, and through a rather convoluted and accidental means, stumbled across 3D modelling and rendering programmes while trying to find something else entirely.
Having tried many 3D creation packages over the years, my preferences are Carrara Pro for modelling, Vue Studio for landscapes and rendering, and Poser Pro for figure posing and animation. My influences include mythology, bad 80s horror and fantasy films, heavy metal and the works of Poe, Lovecraft & their contemporaries.
Over the last few years, since I have started creating more leather and embroidered items, my store has been updated to become 3D Fantasy Arts and Crafts. I love the process of taking a blank canvas (so to speak) and making something beautiful or useful out of it, then sharing that creation with others. I hope those who end up with my crafts get the same enjoyment out of them. :)

Compulsive creative. Leave me alone for 5 minutes and I make something - often a mess. I've spent many years creating fantasy artwork in various 3D and 2D image programmes, writing for fun, dressmaking, doing machine embroidery etc. Enjoy! I did!
