Capturing the heart and soul of our furry friends.

My art teacher really took me under his wing when I was 14 years old and there began my love of drawing. I began trying pottery, sculpture and different painting techniques, but over subsequent years at College and into adulthood I always came back to the graphite pencil. I think there is nothing more striking than a black and white portrait.

I love drawing animals, from dogs and horses to tigers and sloths. If you can capture the soul of the animal through it's eyes then you are half way there to making a realistic portrait.

I take commissions of people and animals so please contact me if you would like that unique gift for someone or would just like something a little different to the usual photos that we hang in our homes.

I hope you like my art - it gives me such joy to complete a drawing of these beautiful creatures that we are privileged to share this planet with.
