How I got started!

Welcome to Absolutely Rooted. My name is Petagay and I love art. Here, at Absolutely Rooted, I sell my original creations of bags and accessories. I call my product line perfectly imperfect, as we all are perfectly imperfect.

I pour my love and strength into my creations they are original, imperfect, and highly functional. It is important to me that they are a combination of something old and something new.

I started making bags after my divorce in 2018 ago as a healing practice for myself and a way to earn additional income as a single mom. Patch work was my method, patches of new fabric, repurposed fabric accented with African prints.
