As Aelius Realm Limited is a Limited Company, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is aware of how the business is conducted in terms of your data.

Based on GDPR Requirements, this Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use and share information you provide when you purchase an item from me, contact me on Etsy, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.Com or its related sites and services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION I COLLECT
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorise Etsy to pass onto me, via the Etsy platform). The only information I need to carry out a Personalised Reading is your name (and date of birth if it's a numerology reading or an astrological report).
You may then also provide me with further optional personal information about your situation via Etsy Messenger.

None of the information provided is transferred from the Etsy platform and is only accessible by me at all times on the platform - this is with the exception of Astrology reports - where your name & date of birth are entered into Matrix Software which produces astrological-based calculations from the data.

I DO NOT USE YOUR INFORMATION:
- To send marketing messages or for mailing lists

I USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR:
- Conducting and delivering personalised readings
- Producing Astrology Reports using Matrix Software
- Fulfiling your order, provide customer service and settle disputes via Etsy
- If necessary, to comply with a legal obligation or a court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases as required by tax law
- The purpose of my legitimate interests - if those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests, such as
Providing and improving my services to clients

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
I share your information under limited circumstances, as follows:

ETSY - All information you provide on Etsy remains on the Etsy platform.

SERVICE PROVIDERS - I engage trusted third party companies to perform business functions necessary to operate my business, such as accounting services designed to integrate with the Etsy platform, which provides the correct data for my Limited Company tax return.
Etsy would only share the extent of data necessary from your records in order to perform these services.

BUSINESS TRANSFERS - If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, but only to the extent permitted by law.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS - I may collect, use, retain and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:
Respond to legal process or to government requests
Enforce my agreements, terms or policies
Prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity security, or technical issues

THE LENGTH OF TIME I KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION
This relates to information that has left the Etsy platform.
I will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

DATA BEING TRANSFERRED OUTSIDE OF THE EU
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside the EU, I would rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer (Google Cloud is Privacy Shield Certified).

You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
