Bringing you original and different items from Our World of Cross Stitch!
We started Aiguille Anglaise in 2010 from our home in the south-west of France to bring you a unique range of cross stitch, Blackwork and Hardanger designs together with a wide range of fabrics, threads, accessories and finishing items. We began with our own e-commerce shop and then started attending needlecraft shows in both France and England in 2011 to promote our range of items.
In 2010, we also launched our own range of cross stitch designs under the mark Moulin Designs. These now have their own dedicated Etsy shop.
We aim to bring you needlecraft items which may not be readily available in your LNS as we support new and up & coming designers mainly from Europe.

Janet looks after stock, choosing our range of items and is also the French speaker when we attend needlecraft shows in France. She designs our own range of cross stitch designs under the brand Moulin Designs (she now has her own Etsy shop too!).
Our comprehensive range of products from both European and American designers ensures a choice from both market leaders and also up and coming designers.
Some kits automatically have multiple language instructions – this is indicated on the item information. We are happy to supply English and French instructions on request.

Returns and exchange details
Your right to return goods is protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm. You have a right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day of receipt. Goods must be returned to us, at your cost, in their original condition and packaging for exchange or refund. Any items that you return to us are at your own risk, therefore we strongly advise all our customers to take reasonable care when returning any items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed, adequately packaged, and carried by a reputable carrier. We recommend that you obtain proof of purchase, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
You can also pay us in Euro's or GBP's by Bank Transfer (please ask for details). Your goods will be held aside for you until your payment arrives.
NOTE: For your safety international packages are sometimes checked by Customs and Security Staff on departure from England or France and arrival in your country. This can sometimes delay the delivery of your order. You are also responsible for any import taxes applicable within your country.

Are shipping upgrades available?
We post items by UK or French first class standard mail and always obtain proof of posting. If you would prefer a tracked and signed for service please ask us for a revised postage price.

I haven't received my item, can you help?
We obtain proof of posting for all our items and can send you a copy to prove the item has been posted. Once posted we cannot be held responsible for any delay in receipt or on the very rare occasions when an item is lost in the post, but will be on hand to try to help you locate the item. If you would prefer your item sent tracked and signed for, please contact us.
