5 out of 5 starsDelivered earlier than expected. Gorgeous apron, can't wait to use it! Feels nice and thick so won't get any slip on my clothes and is long enough to cover my legs. Fabric pattern is gorgeous too!

5 out of 5 starsI bought this as a Christmas gift for my mum and had it delivered directly to her, as I was unable to visit this year. It arrived really quickly, beautifully wrapped with a lovely card with my message. The apron is beautifully made and my mum absolutely loves the unique print. She can’t wait to start using it in her pottery class in the new year. Thank you so much!

5 out of 5 starsVery pretty apron, used it last night for the first time for pottery. Looked as it did in the picture and was very happy with it. Arrived I think in two days - much quicker than estimated.

Me and Maud the model
Handmade AliMac Artisan Aprons in vibrant African print and Dutch wax fabric.
Starting out in June 2017 I made my own pottery split skirt apron for classes at the Yorkshire Art Space, Persistence Works, Sheffield. ( I was recovering from open heart surgery courtesy of the wonderful UK, NHS!)
Someone asked me to make them a pottery studio apron.... and suddenly I seemed to have a business idea. Accessing free Google Digital workshops in Sheffield I built a website and connected to the Etsy platform and AliMacDesignsUK was born.
I have gone on to do craft shows at Earth and Fire, International Ceramics Festival; Wirksworth Art Trail; Sheffield Museum and Gallery Trust and Portland Works, Sheffield, home of stainless steel cutlery.
AliMac aprons are now stocked at the Museum of Making in the World Heritage Derby Silk Mill and in the fab Pazaar +friends in Porthmadog, North Wales.
I enjoy the fabrics, making things and above all meeting people with a shared passion for colour and all things quirky and vibrant! Enjoy!
