We are Alphabet Bags! A UK based accessories brand, creating lovely items with an emphasis on the simple, bold and cheerful.

Alphabet Bags was established in 2008 by husband and wife team Lucas and Hayley Lepola. We launched quite simply from our spare room, with a collection of 26 initial tote bags. Alphabet Bags now creates all sorts of fun accessories!

Today the Alphabet Bags team consists of Hayley, Lucas, our daughter June, and Hayley's sister Amy. We work out of our studio in Saffron Walden, from where every item is imagined, designed, packaged and sent with love to nice folks all around the world.

We are passionate about every detail and hope our designs make you smile.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Send items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If upon receiving your order you are unhappy with any part of the goods please contact us within 10 days and return the item(s) in the original packaging and condition within 30 days and we will be happy to issue you with a refund or exchange an item if preferred. If in the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged please notify us as soon as possible. In most cases we will be able to send out a replacement right away, however in some rare cases it may not be possible to supply an exact replacement, in which case a refund or exchange will be offered.
Payment
We welcome payment by card or via PayPal. Orders may be cancelled prior to being dispatched.
Delivery
We dispatch orders Monday - Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays) and orders need to be placed by 3pm (Mon-Fri) for same day dispatch. Orders placed after 3pm will be processed the next working day. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday and over the weekend will be posted on Monday (exc. Bank Holidays).

Within the UK orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class post, which usually takes 1-2 working days.
All orders being sent outside of the UK will be sent via Royal Mail Airmail. Please note there is no tracking information available for this service. If you would like to use a tracked service please get in touch.

If you are hosting an event or running a promotion and looking for something really special to gift to your customers or clients speak to us about our Bespoke service.
If you are a retailer, how about working with Alphabet Bags to create a bespoke product, exclusive to your store?
Minimum order quantities starting at just 40 units.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer customisation on units below this.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We do not currently offer a gift wrapping service, however your order will arrive in a paper bag with a cheerful sticker as standard. If you would like us to include a gift note with your order, please just leave us a note at checkout.

Wholesale availability

Returns

We want our customers to be 100% happy with their purchases. But if for any reason your purchase is not suitable, our returns process is simple! Please just pop us a message and we will provide you with the returns address. Once we receive the item back in the post, we will process your refund.
