      5 out of 5 stars

Friendly and prompt seller, she was very helpful when it came to figuring out which shipping method was more suitable for me. The calendar arrived in a timely manner and it is absolutely beautiful. The photos are gorgeous, I really enjoyed their contrast and texture. Wonderful seller, highly recommended!

    Gothic horror and Gemstone Healing?

I've always had a love of nature, gemstones and Gothic horror and it seems funny that all of my passions seem to have come full circle on my journey of enlightenment and healing.

I grew up next to the coast and I would spend hours walking my dog on my own at the young age of 8. I loved being out there all alone, listening to the birds, feeling the sun on my face. One of my favourite places to spend alone time was in the old graveyard. It was also around this time I was introduced to Universal Horror and I was fascinated with the Gothic scenery.

I was cruelly torn away from this peaceful life and I had to grow up fast.

In my early twenties I returned to the graveyard to take photographs to capture my emotions and experiences, but when I returned home (1.5 hr drive) I realised that I had just taken snap shots. This was when my love of Gothic horror photography started and more recently my fascination of seeing Memento Mori on centuries old headstones. Memento Mori serves as a reminder to all that death could arrive within the hour, and that all must prepare for a ‘good death‘.

2 years ago I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and I've turned my life around with rekindling my love of nature and gemstones. I've qualified in Reiki and I love healing with gemstones hence the perhaps odd combination of passions all rolled into one. Enjoy!

What do you class as antique and vintage?

When looking up definitions online, they are subjective, therefore below is what I class as vintage and antique.

Vintage is an item more than 15 years old
Antique is an item that is more than 50 years old

What about none antique and vintage frames?

All details of the frame are included in the listing and if you do require further information, please ask.

I do have a selection of more modern frames that are found either in charity shops, antique shops or are given to me by people who would have thrown them away. Each frame is inspected for quality and is up-cycled, i.e. made to suit my style of photography. Usually this includes a lick of black paint or on occasions a bit of glue or wood filler.
