Hello! I’m a Long time Illustrator of Many Things in the UK and many of you will know me for my professional association with Doctor Who. For over fifteen years, from 1979 to 1995, I was involved with the adventures of the Time Lord, working closely with the Doctor Who producer, John Nathan-Turner. My work including many book covers including numerous covers for Target and related books, BBC video covers, books, calendars, prints and other merchandise.Special projects included the exterior design of the BBC USA Exhibition Trailer launched at Elstree.

So what’s with this new Etsy Shop? The emphasis is on having fun mixing my up artwork, traditional and digital, with words and graphics when I’m not working on commissions. I’ve sold prints and artwork worldwide for many years and each is endorsed by my signature which gives the work a special provenance, because of my unique position in the Who art world.

In the 1980s I created a small publishing company, Who Dares, creating official Doctor Who merchandise based around my artwork notably holding the license for the official Doctor Who Calendar for four years and also publishing a number of book titles including the classic Cybermen book with David Banks, voted one of the best ever Who books.

Blacklight : The Doctor Who Art of Andrew Skilleter, a large format, colour hardback written by the artist and published by Virgin 1995, showcased a diverse selection of his professional Doctor Who work.

Quarto Publishing USA brought me back to illustrate Doctor Who professionally with two large full colour books published in 2014 and 2015. This year I was part of an exhibition in London celebrating the art and artists of the famous Target book covers, and was able to meet both Steven Moffatt and Peter Capaldi for the first time.
