How Angels-Cave started

Angels-cave was created towards the end of 2008 by a small close-knit team of friends with the intent to bring affordable, well made ball-jointed dolls and accessories to the UK. They started out as part of Angel-Unlimited, a UK based forum, helping to build a thriving community before splitting off for pastures new. With magazine articles, doll shows, anime conventions and other events behind them, the team are looking to the future!
With the slow down of the ball-jointed-doll community Charlie found machine embroidery and a new direction.
With the aim to bring our work to a wider audience, we are now pleased to offer our teams work on Etsy.

All items are ready made and can be shipped out within 3-5 days.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
Returns are excepted for damaged items or if you are unhappy with your order. We will try to repair or replace an item wherever possible, but in the event that this cannot be achieved, a full refund (minus shipping costs if you are outside of the UK/EU) will be issued within fourteen days of the item arriving back with us.
If the item is not returned in the same condition it was sent, we can not issue a refund.
This does not apply to custom order items. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We are now taking Paypal payments, credit/debit cards and Etsy gift cards! If you need to cancel a payment please let us know within 24 hours of paying.
All items are sent out using Royal Mails first class service. All items are sent with the Large Letter service, I always refund extra shipping charges. If you need tracking, it will be £4 extra for international shipping and £1 extra for UK. We are very sorry for the extra charge. We are looking into other ways of shipping, but for now it's the Post office.
Shipping times will vary by country, all items are sent with Royal Mail first class. Estimated delivery times: UK 24-48 hours. Europe: 48 hours- 7 days. USA: 7-25 days. Canada: 7-30 days. Rest of the world: 7-30 days. Please be aware these are estimations only and it can take longer depending on the postal service in your country.
Items are only considered lost until 10 working day (not including bank holidays and weekends) within the UK and 25 working days (not including holidays and weekends) for the rest of the world. If you item hasn’t arrived after this timescale please contact me so I can put a claim in with Royal Mail for a refund.

In the event that an item goes missing while in transit; we will either replace the item (if possible) or refund the customer. All items are sent with a proof of postage and we seek a refund from Royal Mail, this could slow the refund process up but you will be kept informed at all time on the refund process.

I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Compliance with laws. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 5 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your Rights

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
