Gift wrapping and packaging
All items are wrapped in tissue paper, boxed and tied with ribbon.
I use Universal Postal Boxes to ensure they fit through your letter box.
Items are shipped in a bubble envelope and sent by First Class Post.
Care instructions
Silver and copper jewellery tarnishes with time, and whilst not harmful, it does make your jewellery look dull/grey. To delay tarnishing remove jewellery before bathing, showering or swimming. To remove tarnish, polish regularly with a soft dry cloth or use silver polish/cloths available from most supermarkets.
A care card will be included with your item along with an Anti Tarnish Tab.
Shipping
Items are shipped in a bubble envelope and sent by First Class post.
I currently only ship within the UK.
Hallmarking
The Hallmarking Act 1973 requires any item made of precious metals (over certain weights), offered for sale to be hallmarked by one of the four UK Assay Offices.
My hallmark/makers mark is registered with The London Assay Office.
The current weigh limit for silver items to be hallmarked is 7.78g under this weight no hallmark is required.
I do sometimes have some pieces hallmarked below that weight as I get a real sense of pride and joy from seeing my makers mark on my handmade jewellery. It is always possible to get a piece hallmarked at extra cost and with enough time, if it’s required.
