Announcement    Hello and thank you for looking at my Etsy shop. Last mailing for UK Christmas delivery is 21st December. Australia, 4th December, Europe 16th December and USA 12th December.
All items are made by myself, however as I share my workspace with a family and seven cats, their input (usually welcome) is often received. I will explain how the cats help further on!

I am quite happy to talk with you if you have an idea for a piece of jewellery or a modification to an existing item in my shop. I do change ribbon or cord colours if something different is preferred and will also alter the type of gemstone in a piece if you like the design but not the colours.

Creating jewellery began as a hobby in the winter of 2012. I made frequent purchases of materials and during a tidy up one day, realised how many things I had made. I wondered what I was going to do with everything and had the idea to try and sell some, so I could buy more beads.

Almost as soon as I decided to sell the jewellery, I became worried that nobody would like it. As a member of a local Pagan Moot group, I took a selection of things to show and seek opinions of the other members which helped greatly. Feeling more confident I began to look for craft fairs with vacant pitches and my facebook and Etsy pages were born. I tend to add new items onto my facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/AradiaHare and I get an idea of what works and what does not from the comments received.

Looking at my work you will see that it is influenced by my Pagan beliefs. I am thankful to have friends who practice Wicca, hedgewitchery and Heathenry as well as general nature based beliefs so I draw inspiration from them too. I like to work with gemstones, raw crystals, silver and bronze and will combine them according to their properties and how they influence our well being. Of late I have tried to source my materials carefully to ensure I am supporting British supply businesses.

A recent addition to my work are the Viking weave items. Black cord tends to be the most popular, however I like to experiment with different colours. It is while weaving that I notice the cats gathering around me. Of course they are not interested in anything other than a game of chase, pounce and bite the cords as I weave. They are also very good at jumping up and sitting on my design board as I work or stomping accross my keyboard so you think I am using a new language.

Leaving cats, kids and family aside, I am thankful for the time you have given to looking at my shop. If you don't see anything this time, please keep checking back.

Welcome to my shop and thank you for stopping by.

Here you will find jewellery and other hand made items, inspired by my beliefs and practices. I like to use natural materials such as semi precious stones, crystals, leather and natural fabrics, as well as materials which depict nature and our life journey. I do also use acrylic on occasion.

Although most of my items are one off pieces, I am able to produce bespoke jewellery and am happy for you to contact me with your ideas if you choose to.

Please keep checking back as I am adding new items on a regular basis. You can also keep up to date with developments via my facebook page:

I am sorry but I am unable to accept the return of earrings for hygiene reasons, or any personalised items or bespoke orders. If there is a problem with any of these items please let me know.

I will accept returns on all other items within 14 days from receipt of the item and will refund the cost once the item arrives back. Please contact me prior to returning items.
Payment
Preferred payment method is Paypal as this is quick, secure and provides some degree of protection for buyers as well as sellers. I can also accept card payments and Etsy gift cards.

Postage rates are based on the size and weight of the item. If you would like to purchase more than one item, it may be best if you contact me with details of the items you would like and I will give you a confirmed postage cost. This will ensure you are entirely happy with the purchasing cost and process.

The postage cost displayed was based on either UK Royal Mail large letter or small parcel rates. Should the actual cost be less than the amount you paid, I will refund the difference. The additional postage cost of £0.20 when more than one item is purchased together, is based on the additional packing material required to ensure you receive your items safely and securely.

In general, Royal Mail postage rates are revised (and unfortunately often increased) on 31st March each year.
Delivery
I will respond to your order as soon as it and your payment is received and aim to have your item packaged and dispatched within two business days. You should receive your order within 3 days for UK customers, 5 days for customers in Europe and within 10 days for everywhere else, but I do aim for it to be sooner. I am unable to control any delay caused by mail security screening in the destination country. If you are ordering items in November and December, please be aware that as this is a busy time for mail handlers, delays can occur. If you are concerned your item has not arrived as anticipated, this could be the reason and I ask that you let me know and also allow extra time for your mail provider to deliver.

If you would like to receive your purchase by special delivery, recorded delivery or by courier, please contact me to talk about the options and the total cost of this service.

In most cases I will mail your items within 24 hours of your order and forward confirmation of this to you. Should it be longer than 24 hours, then it is likely that your order was received on a Sunday when we have no mail service in the UK.

Prior to mailing any item I will check the total weight of the packaged item to ensure rates are correct.

Any items being sent outside the UK and Europe will have a completed customs declaration sticker attached to the packaging, this states that the item may be opened officially by US Customs. Please be aware that occasionally items can be delayed because of the strict screening process used.
Additional policies and FAQs
When looking at my items for sale, if you see something you like but would like a diferent colour ribbon or cord, I am happy to make changes to the item for you. If there is any additional cost for the changes I will inform you before re working the item.
