Burbo is a reaction to mass produced, badly made, no-brainer so-called 'fast fashion'. Garments and pieces are produced with a heavy emphasis on sustainability - 90% of all production is either from clothing, materials, fabrics or accessories which have been sourced for recycling. The mass production of retail goods, as mentioned above, makes a huge contribution to damaging effects on the planet and supports slave labour in developing nations.
