About BUTTONCHOPSShop

Sales 1,822
On Etsy since 2017

Say something, anything......... without saying anything...

We started with small protest badges after recent political events in the UK. Then, as things started to snowball, we thought we should dip a toe into the choppy waters of on-line shopping. So here we are!

ButtonChops has expanded a bit quite quickly (to say the least) and we've tried to branch out from just protest badges. With 3 daughters (a teen, a city bod and a full-time teacher mum), 2 sometimes out-of-control OAP parents and a hatful of bonkers pets we are never stuck for a full range of sayings/emotions.

We like to be happy and and as long as we can keep our humour and enjoy what we are doing, then I guess we'll just carry on.... hold on, that gives me an idea...

    Owner, Maker, Photographer

Drinker of coffee. Lover of arts, fabrics. Quirky humour. Detail obsessed to the point of annoying. Little known fun fact: I have been the front end of a pantomime horse. Which isn't as much fun as you'd think...

Designer, photographer and baker of cakes! Also, a bit of a wiz on Social Media. Great sense of fun and no sense of fear! Little known fun fact: Is a black belt in Choi Kwang Do & is an accomplished canoist!

  • Louie

    Model

A gorgeous little Bichon Frise who, luckily for us, loves the attention & is (mostly) happy & willing to pose for the camera. Little known fun fact: hates squirrels. (added by human on account of paws not coping too well with keyboards).

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders

Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill custom orders at the moment.

Care instructions

Always keep the pin closed when not in use, trust me - we've come a cropper with this one.

Badges look really cool pinned to rucksacks and bags, however, they also have a habit of getting knocked or brushed off. Much safer pinned to caps, clothing, lanyards etc..

The Mylar plastic coating will protect a badge against normal scratching as well as sunlight.

However, it will NOT protect against a Washing Machine. Please make sure you remove any badges before washing your clothing. Badges and washing machines are not a good mix and can be lethal to each other - we recommend they should be avoided at all costs.

Badges and small children/animals also do not go together either. Please, please keep them away for their own safety.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We do not offer gift wrapping or gift messages at the moment.

Orders from outside the EU require a customs form on the front which states the value of the item. Please be aware that if you're sending it as a gift directly to your recipient this will indicate the price you paid.

Our smaller badges are pinned to a card, wrapped in tissue and placed in a small paper bag. Larger orders, 77mm badges and magnets are dispatched in a organza pouch, attached to a card, wrapped in tissue and placed in a small paper bag.

All of our items are sent in a padded envelope for extra protection. We do our best to prevent damage in transit - please contact us straight away if there are any problems with your parcel upon delivery.

SHIPPING

To keep postage costs down all UK orders are dispatched as standard 2nd class..

1st class postage upgrades are available and can be selected from the drop down menu in the basket checkout section.

(Please allow up to 7 working days before reporting as missing).
