Such beautiful intricate work. The time taken to create such a beautiful piece. I gave it to my husband along with a commissioned piece for valentines day, I knew he would love it. Both will go perfectly on the wall with our other Barry Slevin pieces. Thank you!!

Why Prints?

My chosen medium is pen and ink. More importantly, Technical Pens and ink.
I love detail. The smallest little corner, to me is a full canvas. I will quite happily lose a day or two working on a few square inches of background whilst the rest of the page sits and waits blankly for my attention.
It's because of this attention to detail that the drawings take weeks and weeks to complete. My record for one early commission is 4 months. Needless to say to make any sort of living at this I would have to command a price for my work that was way beyond common sense!
The alternative was to make prints of my work. A long, hard look around at what was available today brought me to Giclee printing. With it's high dot count it is the perfect way to reproduce faithfully even the most tiniest of marks I make on the page.
Couple this with an archival, acid free art paper and the finished product really can't be beaten on quality and value.
People who have bought my work or received it as a gift always mention the detail and quality of the pieces.
I take great pride in what I produce and am convinced that there is nothing quite like it on the market today.
