1 uit 5 sterrenHet boek voldeed niet aan mijn verwachtingen. Het verhaal volgt een kind dat al is afgespeend, dus het is niet geschikt als je het wilt gebruiken als voorbereiding op het afspenen.

Hello! I am so sorry that you feel this book doesn’t meet your needs for weaning your little one. The child in this book is modeled after my own son, and follows our active weaning journey. I created this story prior to weaning him and began reading it with him as a way to introduce the idea of not nursing anymore. By focusing on alternatives to nursing and the love/support of family the story is a great way to prepare your child well before actually stopping milk. (for reference: we began reading this to my son around 15m and weaned at 22m. He is now 2 years old and still asks for the “no milk book”)
