And they are gorgeous and feel very sturdy in my hair. I bought these to wear at my wedding in September and I can’t wait to start trying out different hairdos with them!

How the madness began and where its heading
Originally named Battie Clothing now Peculiar by Nature. This small business has been through a metamorphosis over the years. Beginning in 2009 self taught maker Amy Cooper made a bold decision not to go to university to study media. Instead this young slightly naive woman took up the opportunity to start her own business through a small business initiative, where she was given a little advice on how to run a business.
Starting slowly the business grew, making custom made corsets for people all around the world, for weddings to comic conventions.
Eventually like with all things was drawn to something new, harness making. This gave the chance to experiment with a new medium, mixing techique learned via corset making and then mixing them with the harness making.
More recently I have been more focused on the beauty of animal skulls and making resin replicas. Mould making and resin casting has been used in my corset making and through out the life of the business and seemed a logical thing to explore more.
Which left a little problem with the business name so after a lot (and I mean a lot, 2 years worth) of thinking the name Peculiar By Nature came to be. With the genius of Alaura of Desnoir made a beautiful new logo and started the ball rolling for this new chapter. Peculiar by nature is a home the things that don't quite fit. Beautiful and unique like nature as you will never find two flowers the same.

I will always do my best to get your orders to you as fast as possible however I am a one woman show so there is no one to take over if I am ill or caring for my mum so please understanding if things do get a little delayed as I am only human, thanks :)
If you require an item by a certain date please let me know and I will do my upmost to get it to you before then.
Transit times may vary from what is stated above. This is due to location, customs processing, holidays and bad weather. Unfortunately these are out of my control. If you have opted for standard delivery then once it has left my hands I have no way of tracking it. I will do my best to help but there usually isn't much I can do, so please make sure your address is correct.

If your item is returned due to incorrect address or failure to collect the postage cost for the parcel to be resent must be paid by the buyer.
