About Bejiali

The Bejiali company was founded by Ellie Jiali Yap in 2017. Ellie is an artist and textile designer who began our journey to provide environmentally friendly products. Her aim was to discover a sustainable way to combine her exclusive hand-drawn art with yoga lifestyle products and share them with the world. From then on the company has developed new ways to minimise our carbon footprint by choosing biodegradable materials and packaging.

About the designer

Ellie Jiali Yap, the artist behind the Bejiali brand, grew up in a small town by the sea in the south of England where her earliest inspirations came from the beauty of nature she was surrounded with. With a background in the Arts, she moved to London to explore her fascination with textiles. After graduating from The Cass School of Art, she travelled across Asia on a journey of self-discovery exploring her Malaysian heritage. Along the way she found another way of life and fell deeper in love with yoga and all things nature. Eleanor now lives in Scotland, where the Bejiali company was born and spends her time worshipping yoga and lochs and mountains.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact me to discuss the possibility of returns or exchanges before returning any orders.

Exchanges and returns are only accepted within 14 days of the buyer receiving the item. Items must be returned in original condition and appropriately protected for postage. The buyer must use a secure method of postage. The buyer must cover the cost of return postage and until the order arrives back with me the order is the buyer's responsibility.

Refunds are made minus shipping costs.
I cannot accept returns or exchanges of custom orders.
Payment
We accept payments by debit/ credit card or through PayPal.
If you do not have a PayPal account then don't worry, you can still pay by credit or debit card through PayPal - it's quick and easy.

I must receive payment in full for all items before shipping them.
Delivery
How long will the delivery take?

Orders to the UK are posted by Royal Mail delivery which usually takes
3-5 working days (approximately) This is not a tracked service.

For deliveries outside of the UK - The usual shipping times are:
Western Europe: within 3 -10 working days (approximately)
Eastern Europe: within 5 - 12 working days (approximately)
Rest of World including USA: 5 to 14 working days (approximately)

If you would like to have your order sent by tracked or expedited delivery, please contact me prior to purchase.

Although most items arrive much quicker, postal services in different countries can vary and I recommend leaving up to 1 week for UK deliveries and up to 3 weeks for international delivery.

It may take longer over the holiday period for orders to be delivered due to the increased volume of post at this time.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE:
Items sent by standard Royal Mail Airmail cannot be tracked and therefore I cannot offer refunds on items lost in the post, where I can provide you with proof of posting.

Delivery Policy.

If you contact a member of our team to request tracked posting before purchase and an item is lost in the post I can investigate the matter fully. If you would like an alternative delivery service (for example, faster delivery or tracked delivery) please contact us before purchasing.

International buyers are responsible for any customs and duty charges due on receipt of purchase. I advise that you check with your local authority about any customs duties you may incur before making a purchase.
