I just love the colours and movement on this contemporary’flying geese’ table runner. It would also work perfectly as a wall hanging.
A galaxy of improvised stars to brighten anyone’s day! I’m especially pleased with how the colours have come out on this cheerful little quilt.
I’ve been using up some of my brightest scraps... the result is this cheerful, contemporary table runner. It would work equally well as a wall hanging.

I love working with fabric and felt, wool and threads, beads and buttons, paper and card. This mix of materials and textures is like a breath of fresh air when I need inspiration.

You'll find me tucked away in a rambling old house at the bottom of a bumpy lane in the middle of a Suffolk village surrounded by creative mess. I might be beavering away on my trusty Bernina sewing machine. Or stitching with silky embroidery threads on soft, bright felt. Or rummaging through the old-fashioned haberdashery stall on the market for buttons, ribbon or zips...

Whatever I'm doing, I'll be having fun. And I hope that sense of fun and exploration comes through in my work?

I'm so lucky to be part of a thriving and supportive crafty and artistic community in this pretty corner of rural England. At the heart of this is Cambridge Made: an inspirational group of designers and makers who come together to exhibit and sell in and around the city. As one of the leaders of Cambridge Made, I love helping other sellers to learn more about how to get more out of Etsy, as well as organising events such as the Etsy Made Local Christmas market.

I also sell at, and work in, the Handmade Shop & Gallery in Bury St Edmunds: the brainchild of the effervescent Jane Crick ( - do pop in and see us if you're in Suffolk.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please return it to me and I will refund the payment (excluding shipping). Please email me before returning item and obtain proof of posting. I cannot refund payment for items lost in the post. Please return within 14 days of receipt.

Unfortunately, I am not able to exchange or refund any custom-made items.
I accept Paypal and Direct Checkout. You don't need a Paypal account to buy items via Paypal from a Etsy shop, it just offers security for both the seller and the customer.

You can choose the Paypal option during checkout. After you submit your order click 'Pay Now'. Scroll down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit card without having to sign up for a Paypal account.

Payment is due within three days of purchasing items. Any item not paid for after three days will be listed as a no payment: I will cancel the purchase and relist the item.

I do not ship items until they have been paid for.
Most of the items in my shop are available for immediate shipping. Small wholesale/bulk orders may take a few days to process. Custom orders, such as quilts, take a few weeks but I will agree a completion date with you when you place your order.

I ship from my small village in the UK and aim to post within two working days of cleared payment.

I send smaller orders in the UK via Second Class Post, without tracking or signature, to keep your costs down. International shipping is also normally via Royal Mail. Please note: this standard service DOES NOT include TRACKING. Please contact me to discuss shipping options if you need a faster service or require tracking. I always ship larger and more expensive items, such as quilts, using a tracked and signed service.

- Shipping within the UK usually takes 3-4 working days
- Packages sent to Europe normally take 5-8 working days
- Shipping to the USA usually takes 1-2 weeks
- Delivery times to the rest of the world can take from 2-4 weeks, although customs clearances can delay things further.

My shipping charges also include simple but pretty wrapping.

Orders will be shipped to the address you have on file with Etsy/Paypal. Please check it carefully before submitting an order! Anything returned to me due to an incorrect address will result in new shipping charges, which will be the responsibility of the buyer. There will be no refunds on missing packages due to an incorrect address.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm often asked if I make quilts and other items to order. The answer is... it depends:
• I'm afraid, as a matter or policy, I DON'T make quilts using precious baby clothes, tee shirts or other 'memory' items: there are lots of other people on Etsy who specialise in this
• I can sometimes customise my designs to accommodate different fabrics or colourways, or make them in a different size
• I can usually add a personalised label, name or other similar element...

I do have to charge extra for personalisation and custom designs. That's because there can be a lot of time involved in getting it right: convos, buying special fabric, taking extra photographs, doing designs... I hope you understand?
