Frequently asked questions
Can I ask for a rush on my order?
Yes, there is a rush option for orders. Please send me a message before placing your order to see if it is possible to turn it around faster than the estimated arrival time.
Please note that there is a rush fee charge on orders that need to be turned around quicker than the listing states.
Rush orders are only achievable if proofs are signed off within the timelines I will provide. If they are not adhered to, your order may not arrive in time and the rush fee will not be refunded.
30% fee for less than the processing time stated in the listing.
40% fee for less than 5 days processing time.
The rush fee covers extended working outside normal studio times and covering the cost of any extra last-minute supplies.
Can you make an existing item into a bespoke item?
Yes! If you've seen an item in the store that you'd like to personalise or tweak to suit your needs i.e. silk ribbon, add gold leaf or even create something totally unique in my signature style, just drop me a message!
Please note there may be extra charges for personalisation, and I will have to create a custom order. Please do no purchase the existing item in the store if you wish to add bespoke elements.
When will my order arrive?
All my products are handmade by me. This means my processing times are a little longer as each item is lovingly handcrafted, slowly and intentionally.
I pride myself on quality work and therefore lead times may be longer than other stationers. Please check the listing for estimated processing times. Estimated delivery times are also listed in my store.
Delays due to customs, postal strikes and postal service incidents are unfortunately out of my control, however, I will try my best to help you in these situations.
Please message me about rush orders before placing an order if you're short on time.
I haven't finalised my info/wording, can I still place my order?
Please try to send your wording, names or guest information right after you've placed your order.
I am unable to begin creating your order until I have this information. I would recommend you wait until you have all of your information finalised before placing your order.
When is the latest I can place my order before I need it?
I would recommend at the very least 3 weeks before your event.
Processing times can vary depending on how busy the studio is. Shipping can also vary depending on the destination and shipping estimates are business days only.
It is ideal to place your order a minimum of at least 3 weeks before your event so we have enough time should any delays arise.
How are the items shipped?
UK:
Items are posted with Royal Mail Tracked or Tracked and Signed service. You'll receive a tracking number at dispatch to keep an eye on where your parcel is.
If your item requires a signature, and you are not available to sign for it, your item will be directed to your nearest post office for collection. Alternatively, you may be able to rearrange delivery.
Royal Mail Next Day service is available if you would like your items to arrive quicker.
International:
International deliveries will be handed to your country's postal service once it leaves the UK. Delivery times vary depending on the country, customs or delays due to individual postal companies.
Expedited shipping is via FedEx (unless otherwise specified).
Is the studio open on weekends?
As much as I love my work and creating beautiful stationery for you, the studio operates from Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm BST/GMT.
I aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours during the working week and may pick up urgent messages regarding open orders over the weekend.
So if you've kindly sent me a message or placed an order over the weekend, this will be picked up first thing on Monday morning.
Most weekends I'm out restocking the studio shelves, spending time with those I love and getting a little bit of rest!
