Received today - love it! Thank you. Just what I was looking for. It is a wee bit tight, but with the help of a crafty friend I can add 2 or 3 links to make it easier to put on.

About

Nature Lover, Vintage Hoarder & Beachcomber Jeweller.

I've always loved jewellery since I was a little girl. On holidays in England and on walks along the beach, I'd collect shells & pretty stones which I'd fashion into bracelets & necklaces. I'd fantasize about living in a beach hut spending the entire summer making jewellery for tourists to buy. That dream did in part come true as I spent three & a half years living on a Thai island near the Malaysian boarder making & selling jewellery from my own shop. Travelling in Nepal & India was where I first learnt to make silver jewellery, and I fell in love with it instantly. Here I collected a few tools & armed with some silver I returned home to my canal boat to crudely hammer out rings along the tow path on an old sleeper & a lump of metal from the rail track close by.
I've progressed up the chain of work shops from the tow path to various sheds & now in the spare room of my house which is considerably warmer!

Now in my 11th Year (2015) of jewellery designing & making, my jewellery has taken an organic look which comes from my love of nature & its surroundings. I like lost wax casting so on the many walks I persuade my family to go on, I can collect tiny seed pods & turn them into silver! I still love beach combing & I incorporate sea glass into my designs which I'm now collecting from the North East Coast of England. Textiles, curtains &wallpaper are also an inspiration to me with their bright colours & bold designs which have come on a long way since the 80's!

I used to sell my jewellery through Galleries but after a couple of bad experiences with them I decided to get out there & sell my work by myself. Now I'm mainly selling my jewellery at Art & Craft markets which I love! Its lots of fun & I adore meeting my customers & fellow traders.
