I'm a slipware potter predominately using mocha ware and coloured slips
Mocha ware is a sub-category of slipware, where you use a mixture called mocha, which traditionally was made from boiling chewing tobacco and placing on slip to create tree like spindles which cascade down the slip.
For me as an artists, I really enjoy exploring new ideas, new forms and a practical process that collate with the use of slipware. Throwing for me is a form of therapy in which I love the regimental process.
I also do Dog and animal sculptures. I can do dog commissions, you can find out more on my website www.billrollsceramics.com look for the Evas Garden Pottery page.
