BishieBarnabees
Welcome to BishieBarnabees, formerly RahsColourfulCrochet
Why BishieBarnabees? I was born in the county of Norfolk in the UK and there we have a variety of colourful terms that are unique to Norfolk. A 'Bishie' is also know as a LabyBird, or a LadyBug. We have a great many other colloquial terms for lots of other things, you may want to look some up :)
At BishieBarnabees you will find a wide range beautiful crochet including handmade accessories such as scarves, wraps and shawls, decorative household items including, cushions, larger blankets/afghans and throws for your sofa and and a selection of baby items such as blankets, cardigans, and Loveys. I also like to do amigurumi and applique work.
Amigurumi is a particular method of crochet made in a spiral and is mostly used for making stuffed toys, keyrings, and bag charms. Applique crochet creates 2D motifs that maybe used for decorative crafting, such as scrapbooking, or covering up patches, or for jazzing up an item of clothing.
On my Ravelry and Facebook page you can see many more examples of my work.
I love to crochet, and I'd love to share some of that with you.
Thank you for reading :)
