Please wire funds as soon as you purchase an item, as we will only be able to despatch your goods as soon as the funds have cleared.

We are a small business and currently exempt from VAT so this will not be added to the purchase price of your item.

Please be advised that all local customs charges will need to be paid by the purchaser and we will declare the true nature and value of the good when shipping for both customs and insurance purposes.

We will always send your item by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, Hermes, Parcelforce or another similar courier so that we are able to track your package and confirm safe receipt. Please always ensure that your address details are correct at the time of purchase as we will be unable to refund items sent to the wrong address. Please note that we will only despatch an item once payment has been confirmed and never before, therefore if you pay by cheque please expect a delay as we will wait for the funds to clear. In the event that an item is returned to us through no fault of our own we will give you the opportunity to have the package resent, however you will be expected to bear any additional costs. Please note that Royal Mail will not send items recorded to an international PO Box number and that if you ask us to send to such an address and your item gets lost you are still liable for the cost of the item and its postage. The purchaser will be expected to pay any local customs charges that may apply to an item and Black Sheep Antiques will always declare the items value as the original purchase price. Please note that some items will be marked as collection only, this usually means that the cost of posting was prohibitive owing to the nature of the goods. If you have bought an item marked as collect only you will be expected to arrange collection within 7 days of purchase. If you have not collected your item after 7 days Black Sheep Antiques reserves the right to relist your item and sell it again. In some special circumstances I can deliver, my rate is approximately £0.80 a mile with a minimum charge of £40.00 but the use of this service needs to be arranged in advance of purchase so that I can advise you if I can deliver to your area and quote you with an accurate price.
