1 out of 5 starsSadly my order never arrived - there was no contact from the shop owner despite sending messages. I requested help with my order and Etsy issued a refund quickly.

Hi Elspeth, Huge apologies for not having contacted you earlier. I've been having issues accessing my Etsy account for the past couple of months and wasn't able to arrange any of the orders or contact any customers. I see that Etsy managed to issue a refund for the order. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. And again, big apologies for the hassle. Have a lovely week! Katia

3 out of 5 starsThe mug itself is great quality and looks just like the picture! The ordering process was a bit complicated. The mug wasn't shipped out at first, and then started to close in on the date it was supposed to arrive, with no progress on being shipped at all. I contacted the seller asking for a possible refund or update on what was going on and finally got a reply about 2 weeks later, the mug was shipped out a few days after that and finally arrived to the person I gifted it to. The seller apologized and I appreciate the effort they went to in making sure it was delivered. They did mention issuing a refund as an apology, but I never noticed any money back. Great mug quality and design, just was a bit of a mess in delivery. Just keep this in mind if you plan on gifting one of these mugs! Hope things can work out for this shop though!

Frequently asked questions
These enamel mugs are more expensive than others on Etsy. Why is that?
Most enamel mugs are produced by POD companies using mugs with just one coating of enamel, and using a sublimation method, which consists in transferring the print using a heat press at 200º C degrees. While this allows for a more affordable end price, having only 1 coating of enamel reduce the quality of the product, making it on resistant to the UV will make the mug get rust on the rim and turn yellow over time, and due to the nature of the sublimation, the mugs can't be used in a dishwasher or in a campfire, as it would fade off the design.
How are these enamel mugs made?
These mugs are 100% made in Europe, from the extraction of the raw materials in Spain, to the production and printing of the mugs, which are fully handmade by small manufacturers based in Spain and Latvia.
These mugs are made with at least 3 coatings of enamel. Mugs with one enamel coat are lightweight, but they are easy to break and enamel chips off easily while mugs with two enamel coats are more resistant, and safe to use in a dishwasher, in the campfire, a stove, and even an on an induction hob.
The printing process is done by firing the them at over 1000ºC degrees. This method melts the print right into enamel, becoming one with the mug itself, making the mugs UV resistant so won't turn yellow over time.
I would like to have a mug fully customised with a design I have in mind. Is that possible?
Of course! I love working on custom illustrations. Send me a message with what you would need and I will prepare some drafts and mockups, and apply as many changes as necessary, until you're happy with the design.
