Well if this isn't one of the most gorgeous little items I have ever seen! I LOVE IT! LOVE! The cachepot is darling, and I like the way you waved the moss at the base, but the tree is what's fun! I have never seen an artificial tree that looks that good. Thanks so much! Can't wait to buy more from ya'!
Silk and Dried Botanicals. Beach and Holiday Selections
Blossoms, having been so named by my precious daughters, was launched in Caracas, Venezuela after a brief but fortuitous alliance with a very talented Dutch florist who was returning home to the Netherlands. Clients were Corporate, Embassies, Country Clubs and Hotels. After a catastrophic family tragedy however the door to that business was permanently shut after a few short years.
Hence, an unplanned and abrupt relocation to my hometown in Ohio followed and eventually, very eventually Blossoms Two was started with training wheels. Having had to switch gears, little by little an alliance with Interior Designers throughout northeast Ohio was ignited, providing residential faux florals. And lastly but not in the least, welcome Etsy.
My personal evolution with dried wheat arrangements began in Aix-en-Provence where I was fortunate enough to see rustic hand-tied bundles of wheat in shoppes and in the Chateaus. That became an soulful moment - returned back home and started cloning wheat in all sizes, shapes and genres. France was the protagonist not only for this design frenzy, but there began my large collection of vases and pots which traveled with me via carry-on when checked baggage was not sufficient. Most were obtained from the beautiful SIA shoppes, French nurseries and fleas. Some were found in other European countries but for sure wherever I've been or am, a pot usually follows.
When songwriters and poets write about a hum in the soul, it's true; it's what I hear and feel when I begin a project, large or small. This speaks to the common thought of loving what you do. I relish this world of gifts from nature whether real or imitated. I'm always on the hunt at every corner and in every dream for containers, luxurious ribbons, the perfect shells and absolutely the most botanically imitated florals and greenery.
One thing is certain, no matter the genre, the addition of green in any shape or size, brightens a space more than anything else can. If you don't agree just ask anyone who has experienced Spring!
