4 out of 5 starsgave a 4 only because you can't read it without putting white paint in the grooves, that was messy and only worked to a small degree, the picture and description should show and say it is unfinished

How the shop came about.
Having been spinning for at least the last 20 years on a spinning wheel (longer if you include the drop spindle) and teaching spinning for over 12 years. I found that I had far too much spun wool in my stash, some needs to go to a better home where it will be used. As I have over 75 fleeces still to process and more come home to me each year. It does help (or is it hinder) when one helps with the shearing each year. Most of my fleeces are shetland with at least one of each breed of sheep from this country.
I also have many interests in other crafts but these have had to take a step back until the fleeces are spun, dyed and then woven.
So the time had come to reduce the stock and to start to sell. It has been very difficult to choose what to sell as each piece I have made has a specific use in mind. The tablet woven braids to go on to new dresses, hats and bags. The nalbinding just how many gloves does one need.
I am still making items as I work in a Living History environment and I enjoy showing people what was and can be made.
