From Wine to Handmade
I never was a crafty person. Or at least that what I always thought.
Yep, that’s right. It’s not a story about how I always loved making things, though I enjoyed making cards for my family when I was a kid. But that was all my crafty experience for the most part of my life.
Before handmade came to my life I was happily working in restaurants in St. Petersburg, Russia. I fell in love with wine and became a Sommelier.
One day everything changed. I met my husband and moved across the ocean where I had no family, no friends and no job. But what I had was a lot of free time that I could spend on a hobby I never had. And then my husband brought me to Michael’s…
That’s how I found a new passion. I fell in love with everything handmade.
Over the time I tried scrapbooking, DIY home decor, refinishing furniture.
But my absolute favorite is making cards. It’s some kind of meditation for me.
I’m always learning new skills and will eventually bring more different items to my shop. But now I’m really enjoying making holiday cards and card sets and I hope you will find something special for your loved ones in my shop!
