I started this shop way back in 2007 as a very part-time hobby during maternity leave. After returning to work, I had to put it on hold. Now life is a lot different for me, and I'm back with a mission.

My mission is to supply you with heirloom gifts, inspiration, unique patterns and supplies that you'll love to work with. Items are handmade or carefully selected from new and clean used or upcycled finds. The goal is sustainability - renewable natural fibers, repurposed and recycled goods. I'm especially fond of vintage patterns, historical fibre arts, and unusual craft literature. I also create my own designs, and will be publishing patterns for you. All yarn is unused and in new condition, usually in small lots.

Crafting is a meditative and relaxing activity. Couple that with healing journaling and memory-keeping, and you have heaven. This shop also does good by supporting local charities, preventing waste of good materials, and carrying on the handmade traditions we've lost. I hope you find the perfect item in my shop.
