Live your best bookish life!
Bookishly started in 2009 and it grew from there. I started making products (our signature book page prints) in my spare room and taking them to the post office once or twice a week. I feel really lucky to have been able to surround myself with a team I love working with, creating products that we all love. There's always at least one person wearing a Bookishly sweatshirt in the studio!
We're busy creating a range of literary inspired products focussed on sharing the joy of books. We want our customers to feel connected to their love of reading and share it with the world. Our products feature words and quotes from classic literature along with playful sentiments that any reader will relate to.
I'm honoured that Etsy asked me about my experiences in their Quit Your Day Job blog here:

I like: cakes with more icing than cake, licking envelopes, John Hughes movies, the smell of old books and hoarding fabric that I will probably never use.

Frequently asked questions
Are you still shipping during the Covid-19 pandemic?
Yes! We have re-arranged our workshop so we can work safely in isolation and there is no-one else coming in out of our premises. Safety is our number one priority while also trying to protect the jobs of our team.
We are finding that the postal services are taking a little longer than usual. In the UK delivery times are a few days longer than usual. We are finding orders to the USA for example are sometimes taking 2-3 weeks to get to their destination due to the big reduction in the number of planes making the trip across the Atlantic. But things are reliably arriving eventually!
When is the deadline for Christmas delivery?
CHRISTMAS POST 2021
Here's what the Royal Mail have said are the last posting days for Christmas delivery around the world:
Worldwide, non EU - Tuesday 6th December
EU - Thursday 16th December
UK - 1st class - Tuesday 21st December
Most products orders placed before 11am will be posted that day, but there are exceptions! Please refer to each individual product page. Clothing (for example) always takes a few days from order to shipping.
Obviously the earlier you order the better! Delivery to the EU can be particularly unpredictable at the moment.
