Announcement    ❤ We delight in creating beautiful goddess art as special gifts for you and your loved ones. Thank you for honoring us with your stories and your trust! ❤

SPECIAL NOTES (11/20/2020):

+Custom requests are closed until February, 2021.

+Our Winter Magic colors for Yule will continue to be made through December 10. We usually restock inventory on Tuesdays and Friday. We have had to be extra careful this year not to overlist too many items and get behind with orders, which is why you will see them sell out and then be relisted several different times during this busy holiday season (this is true of our Word of the Year goddesses as well!).

+We continue do our best to honor small/simple special requests such as switching or adding charms to existing inventory via note in your order comments (we do not consider this to be separate custom ordering).

+We’ve moved into our physical studio building separate from our home! Thank you for cheering us on all last year as we did this work! We are also working on regrouping and re-evaluating the workflow, products, working hours, and creation processes that are possible during pandemic conditions in order to keep Brigid's Grove AND the two of us healthy and thriving! We've hired an Office Manager, Shasta, to help with operations and replying to inquiries. However, we do not anticipate being able to return to our previous full production capacity until after the pandemic is over (wish there was a known end date on that!).

+We are doing our best to create the special holiday inventory we know you all enjoy and that we love to create! We appreciate your patience with us and your understanding as items sell out and are relisted.

+Our seasonal kits have been put on hold indefinitely. Small specialty kits continue to be available each month via dedicated listing for our patrons at Patreon: http://patreon.com/brigidsgrove (limit one per person please).

+Regarding combined shipping: multiple orders from the same customer placed on different days or different times will be shipped separately in order to prevent orders from being backlogged behind combined orders or disrupted mail service. Exceptions possible if multiple orders are placed very close together or need a single item added to an existing larger order.

+A newsletter with free Nourishment Cards is available here:

http://bit.ly/nourishmentcards

+The larger and more complex your order and the more it includes special requests or adjustments or the combining of multiple orders, the longer it will take us to ship. Single or double goddess orders usually can ship within only 1-3 days.

+Our scheduled business hours are 9-4 Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This affects our shipping days and our conversation reply time. It is normal for there to be a two-day gap in conversation reply or shipping day. We appreciate your patience and understanding with the limits of our small, home-grown business. :)

Thank you for being a customer and for inviting our work into your home. It is a sacred trust and we appreciate you!

We choose not to offer “free shipping” in the shop, because no shipping is ever free, it is bundled into the cost of your items. By paying actual shipping charges (which is what we charge), you actually save money on total item costs when buying more than one item. Thank you for helping keep commerce human and humane, by recognizing that there are real people, working hard, behind your orders! ❤️

We are happy to ship all over the world. Postal rates are high for international orders and unfortunately this must be reflected in our shipping charges. We are happy to refund any shipping overcharges as we navigate the new rates, but in general it now costs a minimum of $13 to mail anything (even a quite small package) overseas from our home in the US. The calculated shipping feature also struggles to combine shipping on orders, so if you see a high total shipping for multiple items, rest assured that we will also refund any excess that arises here. Most packages, even for multiple items, actually cost no more than $25 to ship internationally (and about $9 to ship within the US), so if you want more than one item, don't be afraid!

Brigid’s Grove is your source for Story Goddesses, original goddess sculptures, goddess art, ceremony resources, crone wisdom, priestess jewelry, priestess resources, mother blessing gifts, red tent resources, blessing bundles, birth art, altar sculptures, goddess jewelry, ritual kits and supplies, birth altar figurines, earth-based cycle celebration, priestess education and adornment, and publications and workshops for intentional, creative, spiritual living.

We help you celebrate lifecycle transitions and pivotal moments through art and ceremony. We use visual, artistic expression as a means of story-telling and experience-sharing. We create art and ceremony in order to “tell about it.”

We also invite you to join our ongoing free online community, the Creative Spirit Circle: https://brigid-s-grove-8c38.mykajabi.com/come-join-the-circle ❤

Molly and Mark co-create original Story Goddesses, goddess sculptures, goddess art, birth art, priestess jewelry, goddess pendants, and mini goddesses. Molly sculpts the original designs and Mark molds and casts the sculptures in resin. We also have a line of ceremony and ritual kits and Red Tent resources as well as mother blessing charms, first moon bundles, crone gifts, and miscarriage memorial items. Brigid's Grove integrates Molly's priestess work and goddess-centered practices with our family's shared interests in creative, intentional, sacred living, as well as gemstones, metal work, and nature.

Brigid is the Irish triple goddess of smithcraft, poetry, and midwifery. She is also a Christian saint associated with midwives, birthing mothers, and infants. We chose our shop name based on how beautifully Brigid represents the interests and skills of our whole family.

Brigid's Grove is a partnership between husband and wife team, Molly and Mark. We've been happily married since 1998 and have four energetic children. Molly has a lifelong interest in women’s issues and women’s empowerment. With time, that passion came to focus on birth and breastfeeding and then continued to evolve into a commitment to the entire spectrum of Women’s Mysteries throughout the seasons of a woman’s life. While Molly created birth art during each of her pregnancies, with their third child she began making a series of polymer clay birth art goddesses to express and explore her feelings during the childbearing year. After 15 years of professional work in Computer Information Systems and ten years of metal-working as a hobby, Mark took the leap into self-employment to join the rest of his family in our home-based life in the woods of central Missouri in 2013. He first expanded his interest in metalwork into pewter casting and together we began translating Molly's goddess sculptures into an original series of resin sculptures and pendants. At Brigid's Grove, we create Story Goddesses, original goddess sculptures, publish Womanrunes book and card sets, offer a free learning community in the Creative Spirit Circle, and offer online priestess and red tent facilitator trainings.

Why Brigid?

Brigid is the Irish triple goddess of smithcraft/metalwork, poetry, and midwifery. She is also a Christian saint associated with midwives, birthing mothers, and infants. We chose our shop name based on how beautifully Brigid represents the interests and skills of our whole family.

Frequently asked questions
Wholesale availability

As each of our items is handmade, we do not accept wholesale orders at this time.

Depending on our current order volume, we will occasionally be able to offer a one-time small quantity discount for a women's circle, retreat, or event.

Custom and personalized orders

We happily accept customization requests in terms of color and charm. We do not do custom sculpts or size alterations.

Conversations

We receive a high number of conversations (convos) and I reply to them in "batches" according to my available time. Please allow at least 24-36 hours for a reply to your convo. Even if the question is a simple one, I don't always answer at night or on weekends, as a person (this person anyway!) needs a little bit of down time and boundaries. :) If you are still within the 36 hour window of sending your message or asking your question, please refrain from sending a repeat message, even if I have answered another question from you the same day (some questions take longer to answer than others).

Shipping Dates and Speed

Our usual shipping days are T, Th, and F. We have a high order volume (thanks to all of you awesome people!) and since our items are all handmade we often finish items as the orders are received. We strive to ship within 3 days of order date, but during busy seasons, it may be 5-7 days before your order ships, so please keep this in mind when placing orders. Orders are fulfilled both in order of date received AND in complexity (i.e. a small, simple order will ship much more quickly than an order of ten pieces). We are unable to promise delivery by a specific day, since after the item leaves our hands, it is up to the postal service when it actually arrives! If you need fast(er) shipping, make sure to choose Priority Mail at checkout.

Combining Orders

Etsy automatically combines shipping when multiple items from the shop are placed in the cart at the same time. In the event that a shipping charge is too high (based on automatically combined shipping weights) a refund will be given for the excess, less $1-2 for packing/handling & processing of the refund. Please do your best to add multiple items to your cart for one order, rather than placing multiple individual orders in a row. Multiple orders from the same customer placed on different days or at different times will be shipped separately in order to prevent orders from being backlogged behind combined orders. Exceptions possible if multiple orders are placed very close together or need a single item added to an existing larger order.
