This is my second purchase from CATowhee. They are both beautiful, well made and one of a kind.

I love this skinny scarf. I bought it because I wanted something skinny and one of a kind. I like that it is asymmetrical at the ends. Very fast and great service.

Part of the scarf quite literally fell off when I opened the package leaving quite a big hole in the bottom. Not thrilled with the purchase.

Before shipping any item, I carefully inspect for any loose threads or aspects that I might have missed before. I did that for Adalie. There have been times, when creating a scarf, that I try to undo some stitches and it's really, really hard, so considering this and with the scarf being worked lengthwise, it's surprising to me that "part of the scarf fell off". However, if the weave is too open for you or if it was damaged in transit, please return for a full refund. Thank you!

Simplicity and Color

A few years ago, I was living in what used to be a family farm. I had several bird feeders around the house and could observe the comings and goings of the visitors. After a while, I started admiring what at first I called "brown birds": the California towhee, a resourceful little bird that could run and fly masterfully to safely feed. I got very attached to them all, and in particular a baby with a broken leg that adjusted to his infirmity with grace, intelligence and...cunning, which allowed him to survive for a long time. It's in his honor that I named my shop.
The style of the jewelry and items I create is influenced by my Mexican upbringing, where I enjoyed the rich artistic indigenous culture. This love of color is added to my preference for comfortable adornment that is absolutely one of a kind, easy to wear, and for basic design and workmanship that emphasizes the beauty of the materials used.
These scarves, necklaces and bracelets will enhance your own style and flatter the tattooed wearer as well as those on high heels or on running or sensible shoes :-D
