Being around horses my whole life, I decided at a very early age that I was going to work with them. After my school years I spent many years working in yards, exercising horses and doing yard duties, to eventually working for a stud where I trained and competed the resident stallions and youngsters. It was then that I started making my stock ties, getting frustrated at getting my self tie stock to sit how I wanted it to, and not wanting to remove it between classes because I would have the hassle of retying, but not wanting a pre tied because they didn't look as good, I started sketching up ideas for a new pre tied, one that would look no different to a self tie when worn, and that's when I came up with my 'Elegance' range. I designed a pre tied stock that looked just like a self tie when worn, which stayed in place, kept it's shape, and could be removed in between classes easily and just strapped back on, so convenient! And the design gave me the option to mix materials, jazz them up with trims etc. After getting so many comments when wearing at competitions myself, I decided to share them with the rest of the equestrian world by setting up an online shop and selling them. I have recently gone on to redesign my self tie, giving it a better shape, and designing another new pre tied, the 'Bespoke' range, which doesn't require a stock pin! And knowing everyone has different tastes, I have designed many different styles of all three types of stocks to suit all, with many more to come :) I hand make everything myself in my little work room at home, with a little help from my 9 yr old daughter, who loves to help with the new designs.
