5 out of 5 starsI bought this print and the song thrush print also and both are exquisite, so beautifully observed and executed on really good quality paper ready to frame. The colours are natural and authentic, crisp and clear. Very pleased indeed with my purchase and the whole ordering and delivery process. Bravo!

5 out of 5 starsReally lovely quality print, thick textured paper on border, colours look even better in real life. The print has a real feeling of the light and atmosphere of the Helford river. Well packaged with cute stickers and hand written note. All felt very personal.

My garden studio
Original art made in Cornwall
I am a fine art printmaker, mixed media and collage artist. I have also recently started to work in a digital media (inspired by David Hockney) to create paintings of some of my favourite Cornish locations. I live at Bowl Rock in rural St Ives and my studio is my garden which is located on the ancient St Michael’s Way with beautiful views of Trencrom Hill. It is this setting and my favourite dog walking spots which inspire most of my work.
I love all kinds of birds and they will frequently be found in my work in some way or another.
I print all the papers I use for collage myself and have just discovered the art of making natural homemade inks from foraged stones and oak galls which I grind into pigments and then use to mix up my own printmaking inks. They produce a soft and gentle colour and sheen.
I use all types of printmaking techniques in my work including linocut, collagraph, etching and cyanotype.
I am studying the Cornish language and consequently some of my art is titled in Cornish
