About

I have an affinity for architecture and feel the need to made art, pins, etc from it

I moved to Edinburgh in 2009 and have been inspired by this beautiful city ever since. The varied architecture, shops, activities, people...all of it. I love it.
A hundred million years ago, I discovered a love for drawing. As a teenager, I would set up still lifes in my room and draw them. Sad I know. But I didn't care. I was having my own kind of fun. As well as this, I was checking out records from the library. Have I dated myself even more?
With my unchecked sense of adventure and its friend Hope, I followed some interesting options life had set out before me. So from Nebraska to Kansas City to some south of England towns to Newcastle, I made my convoluted journey to what I call home: Edinburgh.

I'm so happy I landed here. I feel lucky and well-loved and full of options for getting involved in artistic practices and activities. I have a tiny sidekick to enjoy my life with and a sidekick that's a bit bigger than me and much hairier. Life is good.

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Specifically, I wanted to be a children's book illustrator. I might not be making books, but I am making lots of fun art and enjoying the ride as I go.
