COVID-19 & DELIVERY TIMES UPDATE; December 2020
Orders may continue to experience a longer than normal delivery time especially as the demand on postal services meet the Christmas demands. Royal Mail don't class a UK parcel as lost until after 10 working days after it was due to arrive, please be patient. Should you wish to upgrade your postage, I have added First Class, ‘Signed For’ and ‘Tracked’ options for those who wish to be able to locate their parcel along the way.
I continue to follow Covid-19 guidance and all orders are packed after thorough hand-washing. I currently use the online Click & Drop postage service so I can minimise contact time.
There will be less post office visits from Monday 21st December - January 5th to allow for a Christmas break. Items will be posted within 1-2 weeks of ordering.
Any questions, please just ask!
Catherine

About Catherine
About Me:
I am a BA (Hons) Painting graduate of Gray's School of Art (2011).
During my student years, I set up and ran g00glie-eye Designs, a small business selling handcrafted accessories made from recycled materials to shops throughout the UK.
Since then, I held my first solo exhibition in 2015 and alongside further exhibitions and installations, I have been involved in a range of other projects including three public art sculpture trails - Oor Wullie Bucket trail, Anchor 20for20 Voyage and Maggie's Penguin Parade - and the production of labels for Cairn O Mohr wines.
My new venture incorporates both painting and drawing using the original artwork and illustrations to create the products you now see in my Etsy shop! Come in and have a look around!
About my Illustrations:
My dream of creating an illustrated storybook has begun with the development my bear characters. I hope to combine my mixed media approach in painting to create wonderful landscapes for these characters to jump into and tell their story.
With the illustrations now available on all sorts of homeware and gifts, I hope that my bear and seagull will soon star in their very own children's book!
About my Paintings:
Inspired by the way life comes together, I usually work in mixed media playing with images, words, papers, textures and marks. My interest in travel, adventure and the outdoors are evident in my work as I explore the interaction and relationship of paint and paper. "My work often sees the recurring imagery of a bird which represents my love for life, the excitement of adventure, soaring high and flying free!"
Intrigued by textures and marks, my paintings begin with a base layer of torn printed papers and glue before I apply a range of media; paint, pastels, tippex, more glue, cut papers. Images develop as the painting progresses and further marks are often added (using kitchen roll, charcoal, cardboard, ink and forks!) before working into the layers to create the final piece.
About my Design:
I have lots of experience in adapting my creative skills to meet a range of design projects. I have produced logos, posters, business cards, event graphics, websites, charity Christmas Cards, fliers and more. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss any projects!

Gift wrapping with an optional personal message is available free of charge! Just let me know at the time of ordering what your message is and where to send the parcel! :)
Where is my item?
All items are sent via standard postage which does not include tracking facilities.
If you wish to track your parcel, please opt for the delivery upgrade at checkout.
If you do not choose a tracked option, please understand that once the item has been posted, it is in the hands of the postal system. Items are not deemed lost until a good number of working days have passed. Please be patient during this time.
I will follow the current Royal Mail guidelines as to when a parcel is deemed lost (normally 30 working days). After this time, I can file a claim and organise for a replacement or refund to you. Please note, these situations are not the fault of the seller but I will always do my best to assist!
