Celtic Dreams Handmade Jewellery by Dave Wilson

I am a small scale hobby jeweller and silversmith. I make specialist commissions particularly specialising in Celtic knotwork jewellery in silver and gold. Throughout my travels, I also buy and sell vintage items which I repair, clean and refurbish.

After perfecting the art of making double sided coin rings these have now become very popular as gifts for anniversaries and birthdays.

I began making jewellery about 17 years ago. During this time I have worked out many methods to produce Celtic knots. I am even working on a book.

Please check out my website which showcases much of my work over the years.

I live by the sea in the stunning Morecambe Bay, on the edge of the lake district in England UK. In my workshop I create beautiful jewellery, specialising in Celtic designs in silver and gold. My coin rings have also become very popular.

Shop policies

My philosophy is simple: - quality above anything else. When I could not buy the quality that I was looking for on the high street, I started making my own jewellery. That was many years ago and I've been making my own ever since. Nothing leaves my workshop unless it's perfect and I am proud to put my name on it.

Jewellery will come with a free velvet gift pouch and a free jewellery polishing cloth.

I usually avoid large bulky gift boxes due to the new UK postal charges. But if you do want a gift box just ask, I can sort that for you - but it will cost a little more for postage.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalised orders

I usually make bracelets in longer lengths and can then reduce them depending on your order. If you want a specific length then just ask. Please note that some designs such a the byzantine will be adjusted to the next "knot" section. Coin rings can usually be changed up or down by a couple of sizes.

Care instructions

I highly recommend "Town Talk Silver Sparkle dip" this comes in little pots available from jewellery suppliers, and even Argos. Just dip your silver for a few seconds and rinse. also works well with copper items too.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Items are usually sent in velvet gift pouches along with a polishing cloth. Boxes push the item into parcel category and postage costs increase dramatically. It's cheaper to buy a gift box from your local high street e.g. Card shop, post office, or jewellers.

Wholesale availability

I am happy to offer items wholesale to valid retailers, subject to a minimum order. Please allow assembly time and order well in advance. All items will be hallmarked as appropriate with my own registered mark at the Edinburgh Assay Office, Scotland. Please contact me with your requirements.
