About BeauOui
About the Artist
Beau Oui? is an art studio based in Southern England.
I studied Graphic Design and Illustration at art college, and as well as designing
for companies such as Paperchase and Joseph Joseph, I've also had a series of design books published by Laurence King.
My work at Beau Oui? (pronounced Bowie, as in David) is inspired by a passion for music and I love to draw pop stars in a "pop art" style.
I've taken inspiration from artists Andy Warhol and Peter Blake and graphic design legend Peter Saville to put together a collection of prints for fellow music fans.
My prints are all professionally printed using highly saturated inks so the colours really do pop!
I hand draw all the portraits using a digital pencil and that is I think part of the charm.
My graphic music prints are more precise as I use vectors to create clean lines.
Everything you see in the shop is designed by me.
