Creative crafts with charm
Welcome to Charming Crafty Things, the make-it-yourself offshoot of Maleficent Things.
I created Maleficent Things in 2016 out of my love of movies and fondness for fairytales. I began by making a collection of character themed charm bracelets representing princesses, heroines, villains and the misunderstood, from the likes of Cinderella to Hermione, the Evil Queen to Maleficent herself. Since then I have designed hundreds of items inspired by films, fairytales and literature. From quote pendants and pins to pin cushions and watercolour prints, Maleficent Things presents an enchanting collection of original film, fairytale and book inspired jewellery, stationery and gifts.
Many people who visited my stall at fairs and events expressed an interest in making their own personalised items. And so I began offering workshops, jewellery making classes and parties for adults and children. When the pandemic made that difficult, I created make-at-home craft kits to help people enjoy creative happy time at home, and so Charming Crafty Things was born. I now have a wide range of kits available on my website www.maleficentthings.co.uk and my Charming Crafty Things Etsy and Small and Beautiful shops also feature some of my favourite kits.
I thoroughly enjoy designing my Maleficent Things and creating crafty kits brimming with beautiful materials so that you can make your own lovely things too. I hope you enjoy your Charming Crafty Things as much as I do!
