This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase from me, contact me, redeem an Etsy purchase through my website, create an account for license management, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com and Contentlicious.com. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or third-party services you access through Etsy. You can review Etsy’s Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

Information I Collect
To fulfill your order, Etsy provides certain information you authorized Etsy to share, such as your name, email address, order-related information, and the details of the product you purchased.

If you redeem an Etsy purchase through Contentlicious.com, I may also collect the email address used on Etsy, your Etsy order ID, and your Etsy transaction ID so I can verify the order and provide license or download details.

If you choose to create a Contentlicious account, I may collect the information needed to create and manage that account, such as your email address and account-related records tied to your purchase, licenses, or downloads.

If you contact support through Etsy, my website, or the support portal, I may collect the information you provide in your message, attachments, order details, and license-related details needed to assist you.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

as needed to provide my services, such as fulfilling your order, verifying Etsy purchases, issuing licenses, providing downloads, and offering customer support
when you have given your consent, where required, such as choosing to create an account or opting in to specific communications
if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or legal claim
as necessary for my legitimate interests, if those interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as operating my business, preventing fraud, improving support, and complying with Etsy’s Seller Policy and Terms of Use

How I Use Buyer Information
I use buyer information to:

fulfill digital product orders
verify Etsy purchases submitted through my Etsy redemption page
send license details and download instructions
create and manage optional customer accounts when requested by the buyer
provide customer support through Etsy, my website, or my support portal
maintain records related to purchases, licenses, downloads, support, taxes, and legal obligations
help prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access to purchased products

Information Sharing and Disclosure
I share buyer information only for limited reasons and limited circumstances, including:

Etsy, as necessary to provide my services and comply with Etsy’s policies
service providers, such as website hosting, email delivery, account systems, download delivery, support systems, or technical infrastructure, but only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate my business
legal, tax, or regulatory authorities, if required to comply with laws, regulations, court orders, or legal claims

I do not sell your personal information.
I do not use Etsy buyer information for unsolicited marketing without the buyer’s consent.

Data Retention
I retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide my services and operate my business, including purchase verification, license management, download support, dispute resolution, tax and accounting compliance, and legal obligations. I may retain certain records longer where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect my business and customers.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
I may store or process information through service providers located outside your home country. If I transfer personal information outside the EU, I rely on lawful mechanisms and service-provider frameworks as applicable to provide my services.

Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you may have rights to access, correct, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain uses of your information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. I may need to retain certain information for legal, tax, security, or legitimate business reasons.

How to Contact Me
For purposes of EU data protection law, I am the data controller of your personal information received through Etsy or through my related support and redemption systems, except where Etsy acts as its own controller. If you have questions or privacy-related requests, please contact me through Etsy Messages or through the support options provided at Contentlicious.com.
