Announcement   For the longest time I have been passionate about a sustainable environment, everything related to gardening, home craft and human relations.

On my daily routine I grab some morning air in our quaint little garden, and have my first coffee of the day in the sunshine (if any). On my way back I take a quick look over at our vegetable patch to see whether the insects have stolen our organic vegetables once again! I also creep to my tip toes to examine the "vege roof" I created on our shed (to make it look less like a barn) and admire the multicolour plants that are growing towards the sunshine.

As I prepare for the day ahead of Coutiver business, I check my tropical "vege wall" that we have inside our house, and survey the mightiness that they have grown over such a short period of time, like a new parent!

Everything I do, I try to as self sufficient a humanly possible and more importantly, to learn more and more about what nature can share with us for a better life, this is what I care about and try to infuse into the Coutiver business as best as I can.

About

You wonder “how did this idea of making soaps come from?”

Well, when I was a kid, I had an unusual passion of collecting small soaps given by my father returning from business trips. That’s exactly how my collection started. I haven’t stopped collecting soaps from around the world ever since, most of them from my friends who know my passion.

With time and experience, I have discovered how to live in harmony with NATURE while respecting the environment.

Over the last few years I deepened my knowledge of sustainable development and the "art of living" a healthy lifestyle.

Mixing ancient and modern knowledge with the use of plants and other natural ingredients is what I do best with Coutiver.

All the medicines and products we use everyday are from NATURE, but most of them are biologically modified or mixed with chemicals.

Several essential oils are naturally antiseptic. White vinegar for example is well known to eliminate tartar deposit from water. With an extra drop of lavender oil, your product will kills most of the bacteria by itself. The goal is to change your way of thinking.

The idea behind Coutiver, is for the products to be made locally, with genuine ingredients, and as organic as possible. The packaging is even 100 % compostable or recyclable! I want to provide truth within the given information. The most important is to combine all of this with the enjoyment of your senses, because there is nothing more essential than true pleasure.

Our Organic offer respects your skin and NATURE as well!

We've done our best to calibrate accurate fees, even with multiple-item orders. If you're concerned at all about the shipping rates of your order, please email us for an exact quote. If possible, we will set up a special flat-rate listing for you.

UK:
We ship via Royal Mail second class for packages under 2 kilos, with insurance on request for a fee, and packages over that weight must go Priority Mail, which gets a little more expensive.

We're happy to explore express shipping options if urgency is required.

FRANCE & EUROPE :

We ship via Royal Mail in first class it take about 4 to 6 days for packages under 2 kilos and packages over that weight must go Priority Mail, which gets a little more expensive, with insurance on request for a fee. We're happy to explore express shipping options if urgency is required.

INTERNATIONAL*:

We are more than happy to ship internationally. Packages under 2 kilos ship first class international and packages over that weight must go Priority Mail, which gets a little more expensive.

Please contact me for rates.

*Please note that international buyers are responsible for any duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

Here's a two-part strategy for buying things from the UK :
* Stay under 2 kilos in your package weight (20 soaps) OR
* Go nuts, way over 2 kilos and fill up a medium flat-rate Priority Mail box, as it will jump up in cost to ship but again, it's flat rate.

Lost parcels:

Claims for loss of uk and international orders must be made within 10 to 60 calendar days of the date of posting, or no claim will be entertained. Coutiver has no legal liability for any loss if at the time of the claim 60 days has expired from the date of posting. ***What do we mean by organic soap?***

The Coutiver organic and sustainably harvested oils and botanicals are identifiable by the little star in the ingredient description in every single products and for more transparency we provide the percentage of the organic volume. The other crucial ingredient - sodium hydroxide, or lye (mineral) - simply transforms the organic oils into soap, as there is no such thing as organic minerals, we do not count this in our percentage calculations.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions about our ingredients or organic labeling!
