Frequently asked questions
How long will it take to make my item?
Most of my items are personalised and as such are made to order. They are normally completed withing 3-5 days of your order, but please see the individual item for details
When will I receive my item?
Once your item has been made (see individual listing to see how long it takes to make your item) it will then be posted.
For UK customers, your items will be sent via the Royal Mail. You can select either 1st or 2nd class at checkout.
1st class is defined by Royal Mail as 1-2 days
2nd class is defined by Royal Mail as 2-3 days
International orders
Depending on the item and your location, but delivery tends to take up to 2-3 weeks from the point of dispatch. If you need a faster service please contact me to discuss
Delayed deliveries
Whilst every effort is made via Royal Mail or the courier to deliver your item in a timely manner, unfortunately items do occasionally get delayed or lost.
I adhere to the same terms and conditions of whichever delivery service is used regarding delayed and lost post. If the item has not turned up within their designated time frame either a replacement will be made and sent or a refund will be issued.
Because personalised items cannot be resold they will not be replaced or refunded until the item has been deemed officially lost by delivery provider.
With regards to UK orders, the Royal Mail will deem an item lost 10 working days after the due date. i.e 11 days after the postage date for 1st class or 13 days after for 2nd class.
Care instructions
The wooden products being a natural material should be treated and stored with care.
They should not be left in direct sunlight as can change the colour of the wood.
They should also not be stored in damp or humid conditions as this can warp the wood and in the case of the books the paper could also become warped.
If the wood becomes marked it can be sanded out using a very fine sandpaper. Although great care must be taken if the stain has penetrated too deeply as the veneer is very thin and can easily be sanded through to the mdf core beneath.
My order has been returned by the courier, what do I do?
Do not worry, I will be able to get your parcel resent to you. If the address given is incorrect or if the courier attempted delivery but without success, and it has sat at their depot for a period of time the parcel will be returned back to me.
If a parcel has been returned I will contact you to discuss what you want to do. If you would like the item resent postage and packaging costs would need to be paid again, also in some instances the courier charges a fee to return the item too, this would also need to be paid. I would create a new listing for these costs and once paid it will be resent. If you don't wish the item anymore, due to the nature of personalised items not being able to be resold I am afraid no refund would be available.

My make times for all items can be found displayed on each product listing. After the item has been made and sent the below lists the estimated delivery times after dispatch, taken from the Royal Mail website.
UK 1st class 1-2 working days
Uk 2nd class 2-3 working days
Working days do not include Sundays or Bank Holidays
Once orders have been posted I have no control over delivery times
These delivery times are not guaranteed and may also increase at busy times, such as in the lead up to Christmas, or due to adverse weather conditions.
My item has arrived damaged
If your item has been damaged during transit. You need to contact me on the day of delivery explaining the issue and attaching photographs of the damage along with photos of the packaging.
I will then be able to deal with replacing or refunding your item.
I wish to return my item
Items that are not personalised can be returned for a refund. You must notify me that you wish to return your item within 14 days of taking the delivery. Items should the be returned to me via a tracked postal service within the next 14 days. Return postage is at the buyers expense.
Upon receiving the item back in its original condition a refund will be issued.
Please note, due to their nature, personalised items cannot be returned or refunded.
