Primitive and Country Home Decorations
Tenho me dedicado ao artesanato desde a minha vida adulta. Fiz colchas para meus filhos e netos. Adoro decoração rústica e primitiva. Ao longo dos anos, fiz muitos tipos de peças artesanais: colchas, tapetes de lã, bordados com agulha mágica, etc. Também tricoto e faço crochê. Mas o artesanato primitivo é muito divertido, apesar de ser bagunçado. Tenho um pequeno ateliê em casa. Faço toda a criação e o acabamento sozinha. É muito gratificante ver como tudo fica no final.
Minha filha sugeriu que eu organizasse uma feira de artesanato com ela há alguns anos. Participamos de algumas feiras de artesanato no outono. Como eu tinha muitos itens, decidi criar um site, que mantive por alguns anos, mas era caro e difícil de atrair visitantes. Então, resolvi experimentar o Etsy e me pareceu o lugar certo. Mesmo sendo apenas uma artesã pequena, tenho me divertido muito vendendo no Etsy.
I have been crafting for all of my adult life. I have made quilts for my children and grandchildren. I love country and primitive decor. I have made many types of craft items over the years, quilts, wool hooked rugs, punch needle,etc. I also knit and crochet. But primitives are so much fun to do, messy but fun. I have a small craft room in my home. I do all of the creating and finishing myself. It is very rewarding seeing how everything turns out.
My daughter had suggested I do a craft show with her several years ago. We were doing a couple of craft shows in the fall there. Since I had so many items, I then decided to get a website,and had it for a couple of years, but it was expensive and hard to get traffic. Then I decided to try Etsy and it seemed to be the right venue for me. Even though I am lust a small time crafter I have been having a great time selling on Etsy.
