About

Curious Creations and Creative Workshops

I offer unique, one-off handcrafted creations made using fabric sculpting and mixed media techniques. I love making weird and wonderful things with a magical / mystical feel about them - there is a lot of influence from fairies and dragons!!

Thank you for visiting my shop and I hope you will find something that matches your unique and curiously contrary style. I am happy to take commissions and make creations to order. However, please be aware that even if I try to recreate a previous piece of work it will always be different and unique in design, texture and colour.

I also offer creative Powertex workshops in the North East of England - please visit my website for more information about these.

Returns and exchanges
I hope that when you receive one of my handcrafted items you will be very happy with it.
If, however, you are not happy with it please contact me to let me know your issue. You can return any of my handcrafted goods, provided they have not been customised or personalised for you, within 14 days of receiving them.
You are responsible for the return postage costs. Once the item has been delivered back to me, in the condition it was sent out, I will process a refund of the full cost of the item.

Crochet Patterns - due to the nature of digital items, they are not eligible for refund or exchange.
Payment
Payments can be made via PayPal, Direct Checkout, or Etsy Gift Cards.
Shipping
As most of my items are unique, one off, handcrafted products that could not be quickly or easily replaced, I use a 'signed for' delivery service - unless stated otherwise this will be Royal Mail second class. Most items also have the option to upgrade to first class for an additional cost.
Please remember that the delivery cost covers more than just the postage price. It also has to cover the packaging materials used as well as going some way to cover the cost of getting to the post office.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Crochet Patterns - instant downloads will be available for you to download as soon as your payment has cleared. You will also recieve an email from Etsy with a link to your downloadable pdf file - this will be sent to the email address associated with your Etsy account only.
Non-instant download patterns will be emailed to you as a pdf file, within 24 hours of you placing your order. They will be sent to the email address associated with your Etsy account. If you would like a pattern delivered to a different email address, pleased note this in a message during the checkout process.
Additional policies and FAQs
Crochet Patterns - A lot of time and effort goes into designing, writing and testing my crochet patterns. And at the end of this I hope that people will be able to follow them with ease and create some wonderful things.
If you have any difficulties using my patterns, or you can think of ways that I could improve them for the end user, please contact me and let me know.

You may use my patterns to create items to sell in small quantities. If you do sell items made using one of my patterns, I would ask that you acknowledge Curiously Contrary, as the pattern designer and if selling online, that you provide a link to my website or Etsy shop.

You may not resell, redistribute, reproduce, alter, share or publish my patterns or any images within the patterns, either online or offline, digitally or in hardcopy.
