When I first stumbled upon Deb Roberti's Etsy shop with her beautiful bracelet designs, I did not think I could possibly create such beautiful beadwork - but I took a stab at one of her tutorials anyway. Thanks to her well-written, concise tutorials, I quickly became addicted to off-loom beading!
After many, many, MANY practice pieces and numerous tutorials, I began to instinctively create my own designs. Rings are especially dear to me as I can never find comfortable well-fitting rings in my size.
I became familiar with the basic foundational stitches, then decided to create my OWN patterns. Being a graphic designer by trade was a HUGE help in this regard. My patterns are very easy to follow with clear graphic illustrations.
If you have never tried bead weaving (off-loom beading) and love what you see in my shop, please don't think you can't do this yourself! Its very easy and all you'll need is the necessary beads, some 6 pound beading thread (or fishing line) and either a size 11 or 12 beading needle.
