Frequently asked questions
Care instructions
Q: How should I care for my watercolor and ink painting on Canson paper?
A: To ensure your artwork lasts for years to come, it is recommended to frame your painting behind glass and avoid hanging it in direct sunlight or humid areas. As the paper used may have some texture and is delicate, please handle with care and avoid touching the surface with your fingers.
Q: What size can I expect my painting to be?
A: Each painting is created on a 5x7 inch (approx. 13x18cm) Canson paper, but due to the handmade nature, there may be a slight variation in size. However, the painting will fit perfectly behind a mat frame, and the approximate size will not affect the framing process
Tip for Hanging Your New Original Artwork
To display your new original artwork, we recommend using linen tape to secure it to a mat board or foam core board. This will help prevent damage to the delicate paper.
When selecting a frame, we suggest using an 8x10 mat with a 5x7 opening to perfectly showcase your artwork. Don't be afraid to get creative and choose a frame that complements your decor!
And remember, since each piece is one-of-a-kind, the size may vary slightly. But don't worry, it will fit perfectly behind a mat and frame. We recommend framing your artwork with glass to ensure its longevity.
How will my artwork be shipped?
A: All artwork is carefully packaged in a clear protective sleeve and placed between two pieces of sturdy cardboard to prevent any bending or damage during transit. The artwork is then placed in a flat cardboard envelope and shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost for expedited shipping. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
