I have been crafting and creating since I was a little girl. I originally started knitting, learnt from my mum, lovely memories to treasure now that she is no longer with us. I married and moved on to making celebration cakes, which I loved. Being a naval wife I needed to attend lots of balls, I did not want a shop bought dress, so started making ball gowns. It was in 2009 that I felt I needed to fill the time that my new husband made in my life. Whilst he went fishing, I needed a new hobby, so found paper crafting. I soon found all the social media locations, and became a Design Team Member with many Challenges found in Blog land. I went on a copic certification class and became one of many who colour professionally with the copic markers. This lead to me teaching copic colouring at my local craft shop. It was here that I became familiar with Wild Rose Studio images, using these in my classes. When the opportunity arose for me to apply for a Design Team position with Wild Rose Studio, I applied, and was thrilled to be chosen to work with them. Since then I now support the Social Media section of the Wild Rose Studio Company, produce commissions for Magazines for them and produce cards and creations for examples for The Craft Channel TV. It took me a while to set up my shop, but as I relax during the week doing my colouring and taking my time to ensure that it is beautiful, I end up with many surplus cards and felt that Etsy was the place to sell my creations to those that will appreciate the time taken to make them.
