Frequently asked questions
Will COVID-19 affect my order?
It won't affect your order too much, but back in March we extended our processing times to 5-8 working days for all listings in our shop. You will be shown this during checkout and it's written in our item details. Please note this before ordering.
There may be delays in your country, so please check with your postal services for delay updates. Domestic and international order delays will vary depending on how badly affected your area is with the virus, postal staffing and volume of orders.
Delays are the time period that passes after your current shipping time has ended. Please check each listing and policies for shipping time periods.
If your order has been delayed for 2 weeks or more, please message us and we'll help out.
What are your processing times and how long will shipping take?
You will find both the processing times & shipping times in the item details of the listing you're purchasing. These are 2 different time frames.
Below are the current average times.
PROCESSING:
Decals 3-5 working days
Glassware 1-2 weeks.
SHIPPING:
UK 3-5 working days.
International 7-18 working days.
First we have a processing period to create the decal and then we have the shipping period, which starts from dispatch. The sum of these time frame are when your order will arrive.
Delays in customs are down to the buyer of the destination country, not the seller. Please check this with your postal service/customs office if you're unsure.
*The shipping duration to your country is exclusive of the customs clearance time.
Custom and personalised orders
We GLADLY accept custom & personalised orders, so please just message us with the design in mind. The more information you have (photos, drawings etc.) the quicker the process.
If you'd like anything changed or amended after purchase, please message us the same day.
We do not accept returns or refunds on custom orders, unless there is a shop made error.
What happens if my order doesn't reach me because my shipping address was incorrect?
We do not take responsibility if your shipping address is incorrect on Etsy. We use the exact shipping address that you use on Etsy.
If you do notice an error with the shipping address, please let us know straight away before your order is shipped.
If your order is shipped before you've realised, you will need to re-purchase the order with the new shipping address.
What surfaces can't decals be applied to?
Please do not apply decals to SATIN/SILK/SHEEN paints, textured surfaces, dirty surfaces or wet surfaces. We also wouldn't recommend wallpaper as a surface, as the quality of wallpaper/hanging can differ and this affects the decal. Wallpaper tends to rip and tear when you're either removing the decal or just trying to remove the application tape.
You should avoid using VOC Free paint, as the ingredients in VOC free paints will resist the decal from adhering properly. Also do not use paints that have anti stain or graffiti ingredients.
We will not be held responsible if you do. Surfaces MUST be smooth, flat, clean and dry before applying.
Please do not apply your decals onto a heat source.
Ask us if you're not sure.
What happens if my item gets returned to sender?
We will not take responsibility if your order hasn't been signed for or collected from your local mail centre in time. We do all that we can to minimise this problem.
You will not need to re-purchase your order again after it's been returned to us, but you will need to cover the postage costs for us to re-send it to you.
Will I get the objects the decals are stuck to?
No, you will not.
Please read the item descriptions of the respective listing for all the details of what you'll be receiving. If you're still not sure, please message us.
These are some of the items you wont receive: hangers, mugs, bottles, bins, phone cases, mirrors, bowls, place mats, wooden boards.
Can you let me know where my order is? It's late.
We always post orders before or on the estimated dispatch date.
We are no longer in control of your order once it has been handed over to the postal office. We always post in plenty of time for the order to reach you, in accordance with the postal office expected delivery time.
It is up to the buyer to check if their item is likely to be stopped or delayed by customs. If your order is stopped by customs, please allow an extra 7-14 days for your order to reach you.
If your order hasn't arrived to you by the date you expected, please message us so we can look into it for you.
Christmas cut off times
CHRISTMAS CUT OFF & CLOSING
> UK Mainland - 12th December
> Europe - 1st December
> Everywhere else - 28th November
We close on the 15th December every year. All current orders will continue to be worked on as normal.
