We follow the guidelines set out in the General Data Protection Regulation 2016.  The latest update to our privacy policy is dated 17 May 2018.

Personal Information Collection

Earth Balance Tai Chi collects personally identifiable information from the visitors to our Etsy store only on a voluntary basis. Personal information collected on a voluntary basis may include name, postal address, email address and telephone number. This information is collected if you request information from us, place an order with us, or request some other service or information from us. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a customised order, for example), if you contact us directly.

How We Use This Information

We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
- as needed to provide a service: fulfilling orders and to provide customer services.
-if necessary to comply with a legal obligation such as; a court order.
- legitimate interests to provide and improve our services.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services. Once information is processed, it is discarded or stored safely in our files. Please note we are also required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. We keep customer data for 7 years as required by HMRC. Personal information received from any visitor will be used only for internal purposes and will not be sold or provided to third parties.

Information Sharing

Earth Balance Tai Chi does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Trusted Third Parties: We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our shop, who also operate their own separate and independent privacy policies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services. Example: postal service.

Compliance with Law: We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.
