My husband and I met working for a printed circuit board company, & he eventually opened his own shop. Our children (& I) worked with him at different times. He passed after 52 years of marriage. This is a happy reminder of our past so bought one for each of our 4 kids to reflect on how it all began as they prepare for their holidays.

I started recycling printed circuit board in 1999. I got the idea when trying to repair a desktop calculator. I couldn't repair it but did notice how beautiful the circuit board inside it was and that it was translucent. I started making lamps and have never looked back. I used to be a practising architect designing prisons. What I do now is much more fun!
